Nepal 3 Zero Club Support Person Mr. Saroj Kumar Shah Tops the Global Context of the Eat4Environment Challenge

With the aim of demonstrating that what we eat can change the world—one plate at a time, the Eat4Environment Challenge 2025 organized by the Yunus Centre, Bangladesh from October 1 to 31, 2025, announced the results in November 2025. Also known as the Global Plant-Based Challenge, the initiative promoted low-carbon, sustainable lifestyles by inspiring participants to adopt plant-based eating habits for a healthier planet. The campaign emphasized that plant-based eating is not just about food, but about creating real impact—from improving personal health to reducing carbon emissions, conserving water, and protecting biodiversity. Every plate, indeed, becomes a step toward a greener future.
Youth and changemakers from 12 countries—Bangladesh, Nepal, Taiwan, Japan, Uganda, France, Afghanistan, Congo, Germany, Brazil, the Philippines, and the United States of America (USA)—came together to make this global challenge truly inspiring.
The Centre for Self-help Development (CSD), which has been pioneering the movement of 3Zero Clubs in Nepal is extremely proud to announce that Mr. Saroj Kumar Shah, 3Z Support Person from Kisan Bahuuddeshiya Sahakari Sanstha Ltd. which is based in Lamki Chuha, Kailali, Nepal, has been declared the Champion of the “Eat4Environment Challenge 2025”.
