CSD Nepal serves the microfinance sector as an apex-level organization focusing it activities as national-level training and research institute of microfinance and cooperatives. CSD largely works with microfinance, and cooperative institutions, government, and non-government organizations operating at both national and international levels. Its primary objective is to cultivate and strengthen self-help development among Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) and Microfinance Cooperatives (MFCs) and their members. It also aims to provide high-quality, demand-driven, affordable training to the MFIs and MFCs to build up their capacities to serve the potential rural, and remote market.
